This product uses Automobile Collision-aviding Millimeter-wave Radar to detect danger and monitoring.
Since FMCW (Frequency-modulated continuous wave) modulation circuit for signal processing algorithm is relatively simple, relatively high resolution, capable of measuring the advantages of close proximity and the absence of other prominent blind, which is the most widely used type of modulation .in the Automobile Collision-aviding Millimeter-wave Radar.
The Automobile Collision-aviding Millimeter-wave Radar include:
(1) Transmit antenna sends electromagnetic waves;
(2) Two receiving antennas and a antenna board;
(3) Driving device. when the direction of the two receiving antenna array is set to the azimuth direction , by rotating the antenna plate in the azimuth direction to scanning angle formed by the two receiving antenna.
(4) Signal processing device.
FMCW radar uses high frequency electromagnetic carrier wave. Compared with the reflected signal transmission signal, the Doppler shift can be obtained to determine the relative distance and relative velocity; prominent advantage is a continuous wave radar can penetrate dirt and spatter; and both narrow beam and wide beam can be used, and thus can have a beam width modulation for a particular use. Continuous wave radar in terms of performance, especially in the frequency of 30 ~ 300GHz millimeter-wave radar used in automotive anti-collision device is very appropriate.
FMCW radar modulation signal is generally triangular wave, reflected wave and transmitted wave shape is the same, but there is a delay in time, so the difference frequency generated and transmitted wave of the target distance and difference frequency can be proportional. FMCW radar requirements phase noise better than -80dBc / HZ, ie 100KHz carrier power at the same level compared to the more -80dB / HZ. This is the only way for radar to have good resolution of close targets. Cars harsh environmental conditions, electromagnetic compatibility demanding a high level of interference. Therefore, the size of the IF bandwidth of the radar system is particularly important. IF bandwidth can be reduced to reduce mutual interference. MCW radar receivers IF bandwidth is usually a few hundred KHz.
